auction rules

-Bids may be placed after January 15, 2001.

-Minimum bid, half of the normal fee (Unless otherwise stated).

-Any individual may submit as many bids as desired, no limits, but are responsible for all winning bids.

-Stallion’s service goes to the highest bid.

-Anyone placing a bid will be awarded a private bidder’s number. Bidder, will be notified of their number.

-In the event of a tie- defined as multiple bids equaling each other, no bid higher- earlier postmark date will determine winner.

-Sealed bids must be post marked by April 31, 2001 and should contain the bid amount, name, address, phone number and/or E-mail address of the bidder. Mailing address: c/o Rainbow Stallion Auction 108 Morgan Hill Road North Hero, VT. 05474

-Phone bids excepted at (802) 372-3080 on April 31,2001 between the hours of 12 noon and 6 PM ONLY! E-mail bids excepted with same rules as phone bids at: morgansc@together.net

-Winners will be notified by mail by May 4, 2001.

-Services not bid on will have an extended deadline for bids. These services will be awarded to the first bid received after the deadline. No bids will be accepted later than June 1, 2001. Thus, it is to the mare owner’s advantage to submit bids as early as possible.

-Cashier’s check for the full amount of the bid made payable to Rainbow Morgan Horse Association is due by April 15, 2001 or bid becomes void and next highest bid will be notified. Bid must be paid in full before the mare can be serviced.

-Details of mare care/semen transport to be arranged with stallion agent/owner.

-Mare owner responsible for all additional fees charged by stallion agent/owner.
For example: mare care, stallion handling fee, semen shipping fees, vet fees, etc.
